Hebridean, 1783 and Genesis Tartans - Kiltmaking Kit

Everything you need to make one traditional 8-yard hand-stitched kilt in a single kit. Carefully put together by us at The Kiltmakery, this package contains the essential materials used in our workshop, making it the perfect companion for our online kiltmaking course or for anyone wishing to create an authentic Scottish kilt.

Your kit includes:

• An 8-yard kilt length of medium weight tartan from House of Edgar, in your chosen tartan.  This tartan will be double width, unless you are chosing a single width tartan from the Genesis Range.
• Waxed Kiltmaking Thread (in the relevant colour for your kilt, it will be green, red or black)
• 1 metre of traditional cotton canvas
• 1 metre of cotton lining
• 1 metre of stabilising ribbon
• Tape measure
• 2 quality kilt buckles
• 2 leather kilt straps, pre-punched and ready to fit
• White tacking thread

Using high-quality materials is essential when making a traditional kilt, and we've selected everything to meet the standards we use in our own workshop. Simply choose your tartan, and we'll prepare your kit so you can begin creating a kilt that will last for generations.
