Available in: This was produced in 1984 as a subdued alternative to the rather bright Cornish National Tartan (designed by E.E. Morton-Nance). This hunting design was a collaboration between the Redwoods and Charnocks. It was marketed by Cornovi Creations of Cornwall. It is based on the Cornish National tartan whose designer apparently (and correctly) regarded tartan as the heritage of all Celts, not Scots alone. The Hunting Tartan incorporates all the colours of the original National Tartan but with a dark green background. It is also said that Royal Blue and Gold were the colours of the Cornish Wrestlers.
